The Admissions Department will send an email with an official welcome to the family, along with information about tuition and enrollment fees. Once the enrollment fee is paid and the payment receipt is sent, you will receive a second email with general information about contract signing, transportation, uniforms, supply lists, and the academic calendar.

The Systems and Technology Department will send the family an email with usernames, passwords, and instructions to access Click, the platform we use for digital contract signing. This process may take 3-5 business days. On Click, you will find the option to print the promissory note and the instruction letter. These two documents, along with the enrollment form, must be delivered to the Academic Secretary to complete the enrollment process. Either the father or mother must deliver these documents in person to sign a final document.

iSAMS is the official communication channel we use across different departments. Here, you will find everything from important news and photo galleries to congratulatory messages and newsletters. Once the contracts are signed, the Systems and Technology Department will send you instructions, usernames, and passwords to access iSAMS. If you have any questions, you can email: informatica@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co or contact the Help Desk at 3014860596.

At CLC, we have TEM and their team. The Transportation Coordinator and two operational assistants are always ready to help children and families. They will contact you to check if you want to use the transportation service (full or half route), confirm addresses, and availability. Once you confirm the route service, the Transportation Coordinator will send you the cost and payment method, along with detailed information about schedules, safety rules on the route, vehicle license plates, and the names of the driver and monitor. TEM has an app where you can also make payments, report updates, and track the route live.

Before starting this adventure, there will be a day to deliver materials to the homeroom teacher. If you join after August, materials are delivered directly to the materials room.

Remember, the supply list will indicate materials that are to be delivered to the school. Other supplies, such as books from the Reading Plan, stay at home. All of this will be specified in the supply list.

Every week, the menu for the week is sent via iSAMS. If you have any questions, requests, or recommendations, you can write to our Chef Miguel Beltrán at mbeltran@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co

If there are special diets, please also copy the Primary Coordinator: Carolina Campo (ccampo@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co) and Dr. Samanda Suárez (sjsuarez@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co)

If you want to bring a lunchbox, it can be electric or regular. We have microwaves so children can heat their food in the cafeteria.

Please label lunchboxes so that, if lost, they can be found more easily in lost and found.

At La Colina, we promote the well-being of our community. If your child shows flu symptoms, feels unwell, or is not in good health, you must notify the section secretary, academic coordination, and the medical office, informing them of the situation. This is to monitor and prevent the spread of viral illnesses within the community.

If your child gets sick while at CLC, don’t worry, they are in good hands. Our doctor and nurse will check vital signs, do a general check-up, and then contact parents to determine if the student should be picked up or if care can be provided at school.

The doctor is the only one authorized to administer medication, with parental authorization.

If you have any questions or want to contact the Medical Office, you can write to: consultoriomedico@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co / +57 312 4807738 (Dr. Samanda Suárez and Nurse Ximena Beltrán).

At CLC, we have medical insurance with Seguros Bolívar, which covers accidents that students may have at school or during educational outings. This is mandatory. Ambulance service is always available for any eventuality.

Classes start at 8:00 AM. It is recommended to arrive at 7:30 so children have time for group tutoring, hydration, bathroom, play, and are ready to start the academic day. For any questions, you can call directly:

From 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, children from all sections have the opportunity to attend Spanish, Math, and English classes to strengthen their skills and understanding in these three subjects. These classes are taught by teachers different from those of their grade, but who are part of CLC and apply the same methodology in every session.

The Learning Center Coordinator will send you information on how to access this service when children join with an academic commitment. However, if as parents you would like your child to attend, you can request information by contacting the WhatsApp line: 3177082507 with Maria del Sol Ortíz.

From 3:00PM to 4:00PM, students from all sections can enroll in the different options offered each semester; there are always artistic, musical, and sports activities. Jhon Mendieta leads extracurricular activities and will send information to access this service once available. You can request information by writing to afterschool@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co

Once a week, children may bring a toy according to the homeroom teacher’s instructions. Please label it so that if it gets lost at school, it can be found more easily in lost and found.

From 8th grade, students are invited to Future Pathways, the annual international university fair held on our campus. From 9th grade, they begin sessions focused on Life Project, university and career choice depending on their interests. They have group workshops, individual sessions, and access to UniFrog, where they can do vocational guidance and exploration activities. In 10th and 11th grades, they participate in Open Campus visits.

Once a week, children can shop at the school store, accompanied by their homeroom teacher and classroom assistant. Parents must top up the desired amount through the PayGo app. Additionally, through the app, parents can allow or restrict the purchase of certain foods. This way, we help our children become responsible with money management, and families can monitor store usage.

Children can shop at the store during both breaks. Parents must top up the desired amount through the PayGo app so that their children can pay for food using their ID card. This system is very important as it allows control over which foods can or cannot be purchased, and also helps develop a sense of responsibility and money management in children.

In preschool, both in ongoing feedback and in the trimester report, you will find qualitative evaluations. This is to reflect individual progress in all areas.

In primary, there are partial assessments and ongoing feedback to achieve learning goals. The trimester report includes subject observations and a grade from 10-100, with 70 being the minimum passing grade.

Through the Department of Human Development and Learning Support, we have the KNOTZ Programme, which supports new students by pairing them with another student to accompany them during the adaptation process. We believe that building bonds in our community is powerful and vital for happiness. Additionally, during the first 15 days, Admissions conducts follow-up, and after that, it is managed by the different departments.

If you need to speak with them, you can contact the WhatsApp line: 3177082507 or email: apgarcia@colegiolacolinaclc.edu.co

In preschool, Oreo, the emotional mascot in the "paradise of emotions," is ready to welcome new children and help them in their adaptation and emotional management process.
